Sandra Bradshaw was on the line informing my husband that they were in a highjack situation.

Sandra Bradshaw was on the line informing my husband that they were in a highjack situation. After asking her if she was okay, my husband immediately went through the checklist [for such a situation] with her.

When they had completed the checklist, my husband, knowing their fate, wanted to keep Sandra on the phone as long as possible. That would not be the case. Sandra told him they had prepared some pots of hot water and were going to throw them at the highjackers and then the line went dead.

On September 11, 2001 at 10:03 a.m. UAL Flight 93 crashed in a field in Shanksville, PA and 44 souls were lost.

My husband remembers how calm, courageous and brave Sandra Bradshaw was.
