Lauren Daigle Donates Almost $700K to Charities

Christian music artist Lauren Daigle wrapped up the holiday season by donating $681,000 to community charities, reports CHVN Radio.

Daigle performed a series of concerts during the holidays wherein a huge portion of ticket sales was granted to the different communities that help children, the elderly and those in need. For this year, she ended her concert tour with a sold-out show at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre. She announced that $100,000 from her fund would be going to New Orleans’ Ellis Marsalis Center, Roots of Music, NOCCA, KidSmart, and Young Audiences of Louisiana.

The thousands whose lives they touch each and every day, not only provides light and hope for so many in need, it sets an example for all of us to follow and shows us what we do mean to each other. —Lauren Daigle, Christian music artist

The two-time Grammy Award winner also presented funds to the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Words & Music and Notes for Notes at her holiday concerts at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, as well as to 42Strong, Colorado Healing Fund, Music Health Alliance, Agape School and Greater Good Music earlier this fall, according to Music Row.

“I’m truly moved and inspired by the passion and commitment that I’ve seen from every single person involved with all of these organizations – not to mention the tireless and seemingly endless work done by their volunteers,” said Daigle.

Daigle’s Christmas concerts became an annual tradition of music and charity. Through her tours, she’s able to share not only her talent, but other artists, children and young adults, as well. It also became a great venue to present the needs of underprivileged people.

She added, “The thousands whose lives they touch each and every day, not only provides light and hope for so many in need, it sets an example for all of us to follow and shows us what we do mean to each other.”

In 2019, she founded a nonprofit called The Price Fund to provide care for the impoverished population around the world through various initiatives and outreach. Daigle envisions that The Price Fund will instill hope and love among all people, regardless of their background. The organization has received $2.2 million through donations made from ticket sales, merch and streaming of Daigle’s music. The fund was distributed to 37 nonprofits across the globe.
