Rethink Public School–Homeschool Instead

If you already homeschool or want to learn more, join hundreds of families at Christian Home Educators Association (CHEA) of California’s 35th Annual Homeschool Convention at the Pasadena Convention Center June 28-30, 2018.

With public school safety and bullying high on everyone’s minds, parents nationwide are rethinking their schooling options. Homeschooling is a successful and growing alternative.

Zan Tyler of Apologia, Emeal “EZ” Zwayne of Living Waters Ministries, and Hal and Melanie Young of Raising Real Men are the Keynote Speakers. All are homeschool parents. Jennifer Pepito is the featured speaker.

The registration price is affordable and includes the whole family for the entire Convention

Register online at through May 28 or at the door June 28-30. At-the-door prices are slightly higher.

The Convention features more than 50 speaker workshops, more than 20 exhibitor workshops, College Prep/College Fair (new this year), Bloggers Night Out, Ultimate Giveaway prizes, a Homeschool Graduation ceremony, a Used Curriculum Sale, and a huge Exhibit Hall as well as Mom’s Night Out. Speaker workshop subjects include beginning homeschooling, special needs, high school and beyond, home management, preschool, family life, and worldview, among others.

While children can attend with their parents under the family price, a Children’s Convention (ages 4-12) and Teen Convention (ages 13-18) are available for an additional, affordable fee.
