Mary Langer Thompson

Mary Langer Thompson is an award-winning poet and writer and was the 2012 Senior Poet Laureate of California. A retired school principal and former secondary English teacher, Langer is also an active member of the High Desert California Writers Club and the Director of the Dorothy C. Blakely Memoir Project. She is pleased to announce that the Project has received a Partners in Educational Excellence Program Award for 2018-19 by the Association of California School Administrators, Region 12, and has been nominated for a state award by that organization as well.
